Ranked as a five-star recruit … recognized as the 14th overall recruit in the country, rated as the No. 2 outside linebacker in the nation… selected as the No. 2 recruit from California. Made 79 tackles in his senior season with 10.0 sacks … chose OU over Alabama, Notre Dame, Oregon, Texas and others.

Ranked as a four-star recruit … selected for the 2016 Semper Fi All-American Bowl …rated as the No. 28 outside linebacker in the country … ranked as the No. 34 weak-side defensive end in the country …  selected as the No. 3 overall recruit in Oklahoma by Rivals made 175 tackles as a senior with seven TFL, Four sacks and two fumble recoveries...recorded 103 total tackles, 19 sacks, one pass deflection and one fumble recovery as a junior... chose Oklahoma over Oklahoma State, TCU, Tulsa and others

Ranked as a four-star recruit by ranked 122nd overall in the country and tabbed the No. 9 strong-side defensive end selected as the No. 23 defensive end overall. Top - Ranked player in the state of Kansas. He chose Oklahoma over Arkansas, Baylor, Kansas, Oregon and others.

Consensus four-star recruit  … touted as No. 149 overall recruit in the country ranked 13th among weak side defensive ends, selected as the No. 27 player in the state of Texas  chose OU over Texas, Texas A&M, Baylor and others.

Consensus four-star recruit … ranked as the No. 128 overall recruit rated as the No. 11 cornerback in the country rated as the No. 21 overall prospect in California recorded 23 tackles as a senior and added three interceptions and six pass breakups … made 32 tackles as a junior with two tackles for loss and five interceptions. Received offers from Tennessee, UCLA, USC and Utah, among others.
