2009 Recruiting Class

The Sooners had a great class as far as the Defense goes, highlighted by Jamarcus McFarland,Gabe Lynn, Ronnell Lewis and Tom Wort.  There will be no lack of depth this year for the Linebacker crew. On the offense The Sooners did get several huge Offensive Lineman, there should be a jewel in at least two of these mammoth guys.  The disappointing thing about this class was there was no big time high School Receiver committing to the Sooners despite having the Wide Receiver position wide open for a receiver to come in and start from day one. Cameron Kenney a big time Junior College recruit is the only Receiver ready to start from day one next year. The Sooners have a likely starter at Fullback by signing Marshall Musil from Kansas.    This class was rated anywhere from 8th to 15th.
